November Trek Comics Sneak Peek

Three comics will arrive in stores tomorrow, but fans can have a sneak peek today.

The comics are Star Trek: Khan #2, Star Trek: Vol. 6: After Darkness, and Star Trek: The Stardate Collection, Vol. 1: The Early Voyages.

In Star Trek: Khan #2, the story of the origins of Khan continues. Khan Noonien Singh’s “brutal rise to power” is chronicled, and the “secret history of the future is finally revealed.”

Overseen by Roberto Orci, and written by Mike Johnson, Star Trek: Khan #2 features art by Claudia Balboni and covers by Paul Shipper.

The thirty-two page issue will sell for $3.99.

Next up is Star Trek: Vol. 6: After Darkness, which picks up where Star Trek into Darkness left off. In this issue, Kirk and crew “face a dire new threat rising in the wake of the movie’s momentous event.”

Written by Mike Johnson, with art by Erfan Fajar and Claudia Balboni, and a cover by Tim Bradstreet, Star Trek: Vol. 6: After Darkness is one-hundred-and-four pages in length. The issue will sell for $17.99.

tar Trek: The Stardate Collection, Vol. 1: The Early Voyages collects “the many iterations of Trek in order by stardate.” This first volume “starts at the beginning to reveal the motives, machinations and decisions that shaped the intrepid crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise.”

Writers include John Byrne, Ian Edginton, Dan Abnett, James Patrick, Scott Tipton and David Tipton. Artists include Byrne, Patrick Zircher, Greg Adams, and Josep Maria Beroy.

Two hundred-and-eighty-eight pages in length, this issue will sell for $49.99.
