Two Star Trek comics will be released tomorrow, but fans can have a sneak peek today.
The two publications include: Star Trek: Best of Klingons, and Star Trek: Newspaper Strips, Vol. 2: 1981-1983.
In Star Trek: Best of Klingons, a collection of “unforgettable Klingon tales from the Star Trek universe” are included. This collection features the original four-part DC start to the original series, and the six-issue Klingons: Blood Will Tell series.
Written by Scott Tipton, David Tipton and Mike W. Barr; with art by David Messina, Tom Sutton, and Ricardo Villigran; and cover by Sharp Bros., the two-hundred-and-thirty-four page issue will sell for $24.99.
Star Trek: Newspaper Strips, Vol. 2: 1981-1983 is the second collection of rare daily and Sunday Star Trek newspaper comic strips featuring ten complete missions. The original comics ran from October 26, 1981 through December 3, 1983.
Writers include Sharman DiVono, Larry Niven, Martin Pasko, and Gerry Conway. Artists for this volume include Ron Harris, Padraic Shigetani, Bob Myers, Ernie Colan, Dick Kulpa, and Alfredo Alcala. The cover art was done by Thomas Warkentin.
Two-hundred-and-thirty-two pages in length, Star Trek: Newspaper Strips, Vol. 2: 1981-1983 will sell for $49.99.
