Forbes Joins Chicago Fire

Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Michelle Forbes (Ensign Ro) will have a recurring role on NBC’s Chicago Fire Drama.

Chicago Fire delves into the lives of the firefighters and paramedics who work at Chicago Firehouse 51.

Forbes will play Gail McLeod, a “high-ranking consultant with the State Fire Marshall’s office.” Her character will “be in charge of monitoring the station’s budget and performance.”

Chicago Fire will begin its second season on September 24. The series will air on NBC on Tuesdays at 10 PM.

  1. Better this than her role as the ‘bastardization’ of Commander Cain in Ron Moore’s less than entertaining remake of Battlestar Galactica.

  2. How was it a bastardization of Cain? It was, perhaps, the single character in the entire series to most resemble their original BSG series character in tone.

  3. Remakes are just bastardizations, period. A cheap way to make a profit, period. That and the fact that her version of Cain was willing to assassinate Adama because of a difference of opinion.

    The late Lloyd Bridges’ version of Cain was more honorable, despite whatever differences they had in The Living Legend. He wouldn’t have stooped that low, just because of said differences.
