Better this than her role as the ‘bastardization’ of Commander Cain in Ron Moore’s less than entertaining remake of Battlestar Galactica.

How was it a bastardization of Cain? It was, perhaps, the single character in the entire series to most resemble their original BSG series character in tone.

Remakes are just bastardizations, period. A cheap way to make a profit, period. That and the fact that her version of Cain was willing to assassinate Adama because of a difference of opinion.

The late Lloyd Bridges’ version of Cain was more honorable, despite whatever differences they had in The Living Legend. He wouldn’t have stooped that low, just because of said differences.

Chicago Fire? Thought they cancelled that?

Nope, it’s actually a quiet hit for NBC.
