Woodville Passes

Original series guest star Katherine Woodville is dead at the age of seventy-four.

Woodville is best-known to Star Trek fans for her role of Natira in For The World is Hollow and I have Touched the Sky.

Tales From Beyond On CD

The first volume of Tales from Beyond, a new paranormal audio drama series featuring Star Trek: Voyager‘s Robert Picardo, is coming soon to audio CD.

Tales From Beyond: Volume 1 will be the first in a series of “creepy audio drama CDs.” Each CD will feature three true stories “relating to hauntings, cryptozoology, UFOS and other paranormal activity (such as premonition of death, astral projection, and wildly improbable coincidence).”

Universal To Develop Locke & Key

Fans of Locke & Key who were disappointed when the supernatural comic book series failed to make it as a television series will be interested to hear that it is headed to the big screen instead.

Locke & Key will be produced Star Trek‘s Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, as well as by Bobby Cohen and IDW Publishing‘s Ted Adams.

Roy On Playing Keenser

Deep Roy figured out that he would return as Keenser in Star Trek into Darkness while he was still working on Star Trek.

During the filming of Star Trek, a newly-created scene that required Roy to return for another day’s shooting gave him hope that a return was in the cards.

Star Trek Into Darkness Box Office

The latest domestic box office figures are in, and Star Trek into Darkness is in eight place overall.

The movie earned $5,660,000 this weekend, for a grand total of $210,490,700.

Restored Shuttle Galileo To Land In Texas

Reading Rainbow Celebrates Thirty Years

Back on June 6, 1983, Tight Times, the first episode of LeVar Burton‘s Reading Rainbow aired.

The series went on for twenty-one seasons, wrapping up in 2006, but has found new life online via the Reading Rainbow App.

Two Shatner Bobbleheads And Lunchboxes

A set of bobblehead and lunchboxes will debut at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con featuring William Shatner.

Two of Shatner’s most famous roles are depicted in the set: Captain James T. Kirk , and airline passenger Bob Wilson from The Twilight Zone’s Nightmare at 20,000 feet.
