Star Trek The Wine

1 min read

A new Star Trek-themed wine is now available for pre-order.

Star Trek the Wine comes from the Viansa Winery in Sonoma, California.

The wine is a “medium bodied red blend of Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Franc,” said a press release. “This beautifully developed blend shows its unique character for a balanced and complex wine that’s pleasurable from start to finish.”

Star Trek the Wine “can be enjoyed with pizza, grilled meats or vegetables, or your favorite Romulan dish.”

Each bottle of the win features a label with original series artwork from Juan Ortiz, including Mirror, Mirror, The Trouble with Tribbles, and The City on the Edge of Forever.

Single bottles will sell for $24.99, while the Star Trek Sampler (3 bottles) will sell for $74.97. A half case (6 bottles) will sell for $149.94 and a full case (12 bottles) will sell for $285.00. Pre-orders are available here, and the wine goes on sale at the beginning of August.

  1. I’ll see your three whines and raise you three more:
“Brannon Braga agaaaaain? When are we gonna get some REAL Star Trek writers?”
“That’s not right! Nurse Chapel would never have held her chopsticks that way!”
“Why can’t we ever get any GOOD Star Trek anymore? Nothing’s been the same since Robin Curtis replaced Kirstie Alley as Saavik!”
