Yelchin Joins Rudderless

1 min read

Anton Yelchin has signed a deal to appear in Rudderless.

Rudderless is the story of a “grieving father in a downward spiral who stumbles across a box of his deceased son’s original music. He forms a band, hoping to find peace in the wake of his loss.”

Yelchin joins Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Billy Crudup, Selena Gomez and Laurence Fishburne in the film, which begins filming in April.

Rudderless was written by Casey Twenter, Jeff Robison and Macy, and will be produced by Keith Kjarval and Brad Greiner. Macy will be directing.

It is not yet known what role Yelchin will have in the film, which is expected to be released next year.

  1. Oh come on!! I like the kid, even if his Chekov is mostly comedy relief. A real dramatic role is good for a young actor, particularly with a veteran cast like that.
