Not as much as Star Trek II – The Wrath Of Khan was, some three decades past. Only difference is is that The Wrath Of Khan was better. Nemesis was a NG version of both The Wrath Of Khan and The Undiscovered Country. One of the many factors that contributed to Nemesis bombing at the box office.

I haven’t read anything from the studio for this movie that couldn’t also have been claimed about Shinzon or Nemesis… Down to that teaser poster being a virtual ripoff of the Nemesis one. Oh joy.

Looks like Star Trek Into Darkness is going to be explosive, brutal, violent, and ultimately spectacular. The pics certainly give off that aura. Especially the ones involving the confrontation between Kirk and Harrison. Definitely looking forward to this release.
