It's just another misdirect from J.J. Abrams. Does anyone REALLY think that after even the nine-minute preview--the one that's coming out ahead of the Hobbit--takes great pains to avoid mentioning Cumberbatch's name that Paramount would just accidentally "reveal" the character's name in a caption? It's very possible that Cumberbatch's character assumes an identity at that stage of the film, but after reading writeups of the nine minute preview, where Giacchino uses Khan's musical cue, I have strong, strong, strong doubts that we'll know the actual character's name until either a) someone close to the production leaks it or b) the movie comes out. This is all just more buildup from the master manipulator, Abrams. Personally, I'm getting a little tired of it. The teaser trailer was enough and this is just silly overkill.
