A friend I work with at DISH loves him though, so I’ll definitely check out his episode of Hawaii Five-0. My Hopper is set to auto-record it using Primetime Anytime, so I’ll be able to watch the show even if I forget about Takei’s December episode. I might check out the original episode Takei was in, too, just to see how it compares to this new one. Other than Star Trek I haven’t seen a lot of George Takei’s work. A

He appears in the original series 1975 episode "Death's Name Is Sam" as a not-nice guy, Nathaniel Blake, and was blown up in a helicopter by a surface-to-air missile at the end. I remembered this without even looking it up on IMDB, but it's there.
