Actually when Star Trek was almost cancelled in 68 someone snuck onto the NBC studios HQ in NYC (I think) and put "I grok Spock" bumper stickers on all the executive's cars.
It made a big impression on them... good and bad.

These are pretty hideous, and apparently designed by marketing consultants who vaguely remember "Star Trek" and "grok" were both part of that '60's thing. "But let's combine it with that Flashdance look!"

Neckline is too low for my ample topside. Can't wear white, and won't wear red. I am not a Scottish engineer! Otherwise, love the shirts. Since when did Grok become part of Star Trek lore?
