Pine To Star In Comedy

1 min read

Star Trek 2‘s Chris Pine has co-written a new comedy in which he will also star.

The comedy is called Mantivities, and was co-written by Pine, Will Greenberg, Drew Howerton, Robert Baker, Ian Gotler and Tony Liebetrau.

In Mantivities, a group of thirty-something friends are in “various stages of permanent adolescence.” The group “get[s] together with the aim of helping one of them grow up.”

“I couldn’t be happier to begin the adventure of making Mantivities knowing how much fun we all had writing it,” said Pine. “Somehow I get to laugh with my friends and call it work.”

Pine will also co-produce Mantivities.

  1. Wasn’t he already in a comedy? Something called “Star Trek 11”? ;-P

  2. I thought that was a planetarium laser show, all the lights and shiny bits! *mind blown*
