Pine To Star In Comedy

Star Trek 2‘s Chris Pine has co-written a new comedy in which he will also star.

The comedy is called Mantivities, and was co-written by Pine, Will Greenberg, Drew Howerton, Robert Baker, Ian Gotler and Tony Liebetrau.

Lindelof On The Verge

Star Trek 2‘s Damon Lindelof will be joining Masi Oka (Heroes, Hawaii Five-0) and Marco Arment (creator of Instapaper and Build and Analyze podcast co-host) on this week’s On The Verge.

On The Verge is a Internet technology news entertainment show produced by The Verge, a technology news network that launched last fall, and which features news, reviews and podcasts.

Luckinbill: Nimoy Wanted Another Role In Star Trek V

New Trek Poster And Sticker Pack Released

Fans of the shuttlecraft Galileo 7 seen in the original series Galileo Seven episode will be pleased with the release of a new poster and a sticker pack featuring the iconic shuttlecraft.

New Fresh Hell Webisode Debuts

In The Birthday Party, a new episode of Fresh Hell, Brent Spiner is reduced to playing a familiar Star Trek character in hopes of obtaining a better role.

In Fresh Hell, Spiner plays a character who wants nothing more than to return to acting and to earn back respect, but both “The Incident” (an unmentioned faux pas that caused his fall from grace), and his most famous role as Data keep getting in the way of that goal.

New Baby For Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth, best-known to Star Trek fans as George Kirk in Star Trek XI, has become a father.

Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky welcomed a daughter into their lives last Friday.

The little girl, named India Rose, is the first child for the couple, who were married in 2010.

Stewart To Race For Charity

Sir Patrick Stewart will be taking part in a celebrity racing event in July.

The Grand Prix Silverstone Classic weekend on July 21 will feature Stewart and other celebrities such as Brendan Cole, Chef Heston Blumenthal, Brian Johnson, Tony Hirst, Chemmy Alcott and ex-England footballer Steve Bull.

Saldana: Loving Her Thirties

Zoë Saldana recently attended the Cosmopolitan for Latinas party in New York City, in honor of the
launch of the new magazine, which arrived on newsstands earlier this month.

Saldana spoke about her life since her split with former fiancé Keith Britton last year. “The reality is, I have gotten this far because I don’t pay attention to anything but my heart and what I want to do,” she said. “And if it’s a hit today, or if it’s a miss tomorrow, seriously — no regrets because if I follow my heart I can never be wrong.”
