Burton In Minor Car Accident

1 min read

Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s LeVar Burton‘s car was rear-ended this weekend.

It’s bad enough to get pulled over by a cop, but it’s worse when an accident is caused as a result of that minor traffic stop.

Burton was stopped by the police in Van Nuys, California, for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

The actor dutifully pulled over, but then evidently stopped a bit too suddenly, causing the cop car behind him to hit his car, causing damage to one corner of Burton’s car.

“I’m fine; everybody’s fine,” said Burton, who emerged from his vehicle wearing a Reading Rainbow shirt. “Nobody died; nobody got hurt; it’s all good.”

The good news? Burton didn’t receive a ticket.

  1. It is the heart burn thing. Road accident is not receivable to anybody. The Govt. should take effort for road accident.

  2. It is the sensitive post about car accident. I think that the car/bus/truck and train accident is the most treacherous accident then others. Government can take some appropriate step and easily get rid of this. On the other-hand, people awareness is the most important for removing accident. Thanks!
