Um are you even replying to the right person? Where in my post did I exhibit hatred towards Abrams the person? I didn’t. I actually think Abrams is a fantastic director, but I am opposed to the idea of a Trek reboot.

And, I wish you fans would quit acting like dumbasses and leave J.J. Abrams, be. He did bring Star Trek back to life when it was at its lowest point. Honest to God, this hatred toward somebody who made Star Trek better and bolder is just stupid! It’s smartass remarks like that, that put off not only fans who have accepted the film and its changes, but, also newcomers as well.

If you don’t like the film and choose not to watch it, that’s your choice. But to keep spreading this hatred toward Abrams is just only proving one thing.

How immature purist fans can really sour others interests.

I can understand why Mr. Abrams is having to clamp down on this situation. Those who have been sneaking in photos have been interfering with the filming schedule and the creative process.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Mr. Abrams got the idea for blocking off the sets after that incident where some people from Farragut Films had hijacked the Starship Ajax sets in Oklahoma City. That’s one way to prevent someone from doing either thing.
