The second issue of the new Star Trek comic series from IDW Publishing is due out tomorrow.

In Star Trek #2, “Kirk and Spock face off against one of their own when crewman Gary Mitchell is possessed by an entity of unfathomable power.”

Star Trek #2 was written by Mike Johnson, with art by Stephen Molnar and covers by Tim Bradstreet and Joe Corroney. Star Trek #2 was produced by Star Trek XI co-writer/producer Roberto Orci.

Thirty-two pages in length, Star Trek #2 will sell for $3.99.

    Definitely an interesting take on the classic second pilot(in the new timeline). I could almost hear Gary Lockwood voicing the Gary Mitchell character in this re-boot.
