Star Trek Expeditions Expansion Set

A new expansion set will be released for the Star Trek Expeditions cooperative mission game.

Star Trek Expeditions released in June, and in the game, the crew of the USS Enterprise was on the planet Nibia to facilitate the entrance of Nibia into the United Federation of Planets. But when they got there, all was not as it should have been; the planet was in chaos and there was the threat of a Klingon invasion.

Mulgrew: Trek Fans Always Supportive

When Star Trek Voyager‘s Kate Mulgrew took on the role of Kove in National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility (NTSF:SD:SUV), she knew her Star Trek fans would be supportive.

Mulgrew’s character, Kove, is “definitely obsessed with Trent, obsessed with sex and obsessed with herself and her hairdo,” explained Mulgrew.

Meaney: Parked And DS9

Colm Meaney explained why he took on the role of homeless Fred Daly in Parked, plus what made Star Trek: Deep Space Nine special.

In Parked, Meaney portrays Fred Daly, a homeless Irish man who ends up living in his car after returning from England only to find that jobs are non-existent back home in Dublin.

Napier Passes

Charles Napier, best-known to Star Trek fans for his roles in the original series and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, died yesterday at the age of seventy-five.

The versatile actor, also seen in The Blues Brothers, Silence of the Lambs, Rambo: First Blood Part II and television shows such as Mission: Impossible, Kojak and The Rockford Files, collapsed in his house yesterday and died after being taken to the hospital.

Napier played the hippie Adam in The Way to Eden, and General Rex Denning in Deep Space Nine: Little Green Man.

Divorced twice, Napier is survived by sons Whit and Hunter, and daughter Meghan.

Data Bust To Debut

A limited-edition officially-licensed bust of Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Data will be available next year.

The bust is the third in a series, following one of Kirk and one of Picard. Those first two busts will be released in January 2012.

Stewart: Saving Is Good

Taking the advice of co-star Brent Spiner, Patrick Stewart hung on to certain items from his time on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

“Throw nothing away,” Spiner told Stewart over twenty years ago. “Save everything.” So Stewart did, and now has a treasure trove of scripts and call sheets from his time on TNG.

Master Model Maker On QMx Enterprise Refit

Master model maker John Eblan and his team have created the Enterprise Refit Artisan Replica, which is available as of today.

Eblan, who has worked for ILM in the past, creating vehicles which have appeared on television shows and movies, explained the process of making the Enterprise Refit model.

New Abrams Project Plus Trek 2 Talk

Another project from J.J. Abrams has been announced.

This time, Abrams is teaming with screenwriter Billy Ray on the untitled project, which is said to be a mystery adventure. The project has been purchased by Paramount.
