		<description>I cannot express the emotions I felt when I first read that this would be Mr. Leonard Nimoy&#039;s final appearance at a Star Trek convention... I felt that, pretty much, Star Trek was coming to an end. I understand now that, while Trek must be very important to him (as he has shown), his true life is even greater-- and he must fulfill it. His photography and all future endeavors are, and will be, magnificent accomplishments! 

I did also read somewhere that he wished to spend more time with family... I respect that immensely.
