The remaining Vulcan's may not even want his genetic contribution (since in their eyes), he is flawed. I just don't see them wanting to use him in that way. Maybe for his Starfleet and scientific knowledge..but that's it. Better keep that love thing going with his human girlfriend. Pon farr maybe around the corner. Spock being half-Vulcan, he's not the best choice to serve that purpose - recall the prejudice against Humans when he was offered a position that he turned down to join StarFleet... I would rather see Vulcans trying a rapprochement with the Romulans, a logical gesture since they are genetically close to Vulcans, but one that would put pressure on the Federation... The Federation without Vulcan should also be in shambles and other Alpha Quadrant races might want to seize the opportunity to challenge it... A war between the Federation and the Cardassians would redraw the complete history of Trek as we know it... My two cents... Huh, how much time does repopulating takes???
