The game, the fourth in a series, is called Trap A Tribble, and follows three other Trek games: Red Alert, Explore New Worlds and the Trouble With Tribbles.

Several new short videos to promote J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 have been posted online.
More doom and mayhem can be seen in the latest videos released to promote Super 8, which is due out on June 10th.
Although David Carson directed gems such as Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Yesterday’s Enterprise, he also worked on Star Trek: Generations, where he found the proposed mode of death for James T. Kirk to be unacceptable.
Carson began his Trek career with The Next Generation‘s The Enemy. “I was in England and I didn’t know Star Trek,” he explained. “When I was told that I had an interview for the thing, I said, ‘Oh yes, what’s Star Trek?’ My agents went, ‘You don’t know what Star Trek is? You’d better go down to the video store and get the thing out and have a look at it.”
For Linda Park, being offered the role of Hoshi Sato in Star Trek: Enterprise meant deciding whether to accept that part, or to fulfill a dream by taking a role in a play that was being performed in her home town.
Raised in San Jose, Park had been offered a role in Cyrano de Bergerac in 2001, but Hollywood beckoned. “I was fresh out of drama school, and I really didn’t know what the right thing to do was,” said Park “My agent said I was crazy. This was a TV gig, and I could always do a play.”
Star Trek XI‘s Zoë Saldana has joined the cast of the dramatic thriller The Words.
Saldana is the latest addition to The Words, joining Dennis Quaid, Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Irons. “Very excited that Dennis Quaid is joining our Bradley Cooper movie The Words,” tweeted Cassian Elwes, executive producer of The Words. “Jeremy Irons and Zoë Saldana are in.”
The Words is the story of a successful writer who “discovers there’s a price to pay for stealing someone else’s work.”
Not only the fans are eager for the return of Star Trek, but so is Karl Urban.
Urban has other irons in the fire, but his mind is looking ahead to Star Trek 2. “I’ve got Priest coming out next week,” he said, “it’s a kickass, post-apocalyptic vampire western, and then I’m going to start working on a new Star Trek film towards the end of the year. You know, when J.J. [Abrams] is ready. When he says, ‘Let’s come and play’.”
Fox network has announced which shows it will keep for fall of 2011 and which shows have been axed and even though there were plenty of cancellations, J.J. Abrams‘ Alcatraz has survived the cuts.
Alcatraz joins three other new shows: The New Girl, I Hate My Daughter, and Finder, which will air this fall. Other shows which will appear on Fox include Terra Nova, Glee, Fringe and House.
Star Trek XI‘s Simon Pegg has picked up an award today at the UK National Movie Awards (NMA).
The award was in the Comedy category for Paul, which starred Pegg and Nick Frost.

The art will be offered as “a variety of pieces in various editions and at a wide range of prices,” with each piece of art being accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
Chris Hemsworth, Star Trek XI’s George, Kirk, is in negotiations for a role in Snow White and the Huntsman.
In Snow White and the Huntsman, Hemsworth’s Huntsman would be a mentor figure to Snow White.
Fans hoping that a remastered Star Trek: The Next Generation would make an appearance may be in luck.
Talk has been going on for some time about the possibility of a remastered The Next Generation release and if all goes well, fans might see episodes in HD this fall.

According to Variety, Stephen Collins, best-known to Star Trek fans for his role as Captain Willard Decker on Star Trek: The Motion Picture, will be joining the Farrelly Brothers’ The Three Stooges movie.
Collins will be joining Sean Hayes and Will Sasso, who play Larry Fine and Curly Howard, and possibly Chris Diamantopoulus, who may play Moe Howard.
Mr. Harter, played by Collins, will show up at the orphanage run by Jane Lynch (Glee) as the Mother Superior, to adopt one of the Stooges.
The Three Stooges will arrive in theaters in 2012.
