Shatner’s Star Replaced

1 min read

William Shatner‘s damaged Canadian “Walk of Fame” star has been replaced.

The original star, installed in 2000 and seen in the accompanying photo, was damaged by a sidewalk snow plow. It was replaced this morning with a new red granite star.

Shatner’s star was not the only one replaced today. A cracked star belonging to legendary hockey star Gordie Howe (Detroit Red Wings) was replaced and stars belonging to the Canadian rock group Nickelback and Deal or No Deal game show host Howie Mandel were reset.

The Walk of Fame is located outside of the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto.
