Video Friday – Drexler And Stewart

1 min read

Two videos have been posted today which will be of interest to Star Trek fans; one by Doug Drexler and the other featuring Sir Patrick Stewart.

The nineteen-minute video posted by Drexler, which can be seen at StarTrek.com, has a lot of goodies for fans, with segments about the original series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise.

The Drex files opens with an interview of Mike Forest, who played Apollo in the second season original series episode Who Mourns for Adonais. Then The Next Generation fans can see the story of the “Thanksgiving battle for the four-footer,” where Greg Jein and several others try to move a four-foot long model of the USS Enterprise without damaging it.

Star Trek: Enterprise fans should tune in at the 13:27 mark in the video, where Drexler has made a short blooper reel of the crew filmed during the first season’s Desert Crossing. Following the blooper reel, go back in time to when the Star Trek: Enterprise pilot was being shot and see what it was really like – with all the bells and whistles included.

But beware Romulan spies!

The second video posted today features an hour-long interview with Sir Patrick Stewart, which can be seen here. In the interview, Stewart shares “inside-the-theater tales,” and talks about his knighthood and his years on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
