Mulgrew In Love, Loss, And What I Wore

2 min read

Fans in the New York area who would like to see Kate Mulgrew on stage can take advantage of a specially-priced ticket offer, saving almost half off the normal price.

Kate Mulgrew is currently starring in Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron‘s Love, Loss, and What I Wore, an intimate collection of vignettes and monologues based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollections of the Ephrons’ friends.

Love, Loss, and What I Wore “uses clothes and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to. Directed by Karen Carpenter, the production is performed by a rotating cast of five all-star actors, who will perform in four-week cycles.”

In a review by the New York Times, some of the stories mentioned included “black cowboy boots become a sad tale of being under-appreciated in a relationship; a tale of two women shopping for their wedding outfits ends bittersweetly; and the recollection of a new bra is a quiet testament to a woman’s search for dignity while undergoing treatment for breast cancer.”

Mulgrew is performing Off-Broadway in Love, Loss, and What I Wore at New York’s Westside Theatre now through August 29, 2010. Due to other commitments, she will not be appearing the weekend of August 21st & 22nd.As a fan, you can get specially-priced tickets to see Love, Loss, and What I Wore by clicking here.
