Body of Proof (formerly Body of Evidence) is a medical mystery series starring Dana Delany (Desperate Housewives, China Beach) as a neurosurgeon-turned-medical examiner.

$#*! My Dad Says, a new show starring Ryan Devlin as the son of a profane and funny father played by William Shatner, has been picked up by CBS and will air on the fall schedule.
Based on a true life son and father, $#*! My Dad Says began life as a Twitter feed begun by the son, Justin Halpern, in 2009.

STARFLEET, the world’s oldest and largest continuously-active Star Trek fan club, has announced that one of its guest judges for the second annual STARFLEET Short Story Contest is none other than Dorothy (D.C.) Fontana.
Authors will need to be members of STARFLEET to submit their Star Trek fan fiction, which should not exceed 7,500 words in length and which must take place within the fictional science fiction universe of Star Trek.

Science fiction has come a long way in the fifty-odd years since Leonard Nimoy first acted in a sci-fi film.
In 1952, a twenty-one-year old Nimoy played his first sci-fi alien, a Martian zombie who along with two others of his kind, wanted to take over Earth, a typical theme in the early days of sci-fi movies.

Star Trek: Online players who would like to have input into which starship class they would like to see next in the MMORPG are encouraged to head to the official site and make their starship class preference known.
There are six classes from which to choose, all six from canon Star Trek. Players may choose from the following classes: Excelsior, Nebula, Oberth, Enterprise J, NX Enterprise and Ambassador.

Scott Colthorp, director of Trek Nation, a Star Trek documentary in progress, and Rod Roddenberry, son of Gene Roddenberry, seek to make a film unlike previous Star Trek documentaries such as Trekkies.
It’s not easy being a Star Trek fan, with the average public’s perception of the typical Star Trek fan being shaped by films such as 1997′s Trekkies as well as William Shatner‘s Get A Life skit on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s.

Zachary Quinto (Sylar) will have more free time on his hands now that Heroes has been canceled after four seasons.
Heroes may have featured ordinary people with superhuman abilities, but even Sylar couldn’t overcome anemic ratings. NBC canceled the once-popular show after ratings, which once averaged a 6.6 rating/10 share, fell almost thirty percent to a 4.7/7 after the third season.

The latest Star Trek: Online release notes have been posted and the update includes data on the Undine Terradome and Khitomer Accord STFs as well as improvements to Memory Alpha.
The Terradome is now available for players of Undine Terradome STF, where they will find that inside the Terradome, it is very similar to Deep Space Nine.

Over five thousand fans attended FedCon XIX in Bonn, Germany, where Star Trek actors from The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager were in attendance.
According to TrekMovie.com, fans were not only treated to stories from the actors, but were the victims of a prank which ended happily.

The two-part season finale of Fringe airs on Fox beginning this Thursday, and in the finale, Leonard Nimoy will be seen again as the mysterious William Bell.
The Fringe finale will feature a confrontation between two characters, one of them William Bell, the other Dr. Walter Bishop.
