New Shatner Show To Debut On Bio

1 min read

By September, William Shatner will be hosting a new show for the Bio Channel.

Leonard Nimoy may have retired to pursue his hobbies, but his friend and former co-star Shatner is as busy as a man half his age. Shatner’s latest project is a show about how ordinary people change after they’ve been thrust unexpectedly into national headlines.

“What would happen if your private life suddenly became public?” That is the question that Shatner’s Aftermath, a new show created by Shatner, will try to answer.

In Shatner’s Aftermath, Shatner will recap dramatic events that caught the nation’s attention, and then sit down with the newsmakers and their families to find out what happened to them and how their lives changed after the media attention died down.

Episodes will include: Jessica Lynch, The D.C. Sniper victims, the Unabomber, Bernhard Goetz, Mary Kay Letourneau and the Weaver family of Ruby Ridge. Archive footage and re-enactments will refresh the public’s memory of the various events.

Shatner’s Aftermath is produced by GRB Entertainment. Executive producers are Gary Benz, Michael Branton, Ted Haimes and William Shatner.
