Montgomery In New VH1 Movie

1 min read

Anthony Montgomery, best-known to Star Trek: Enterprise fans for his role of Ensign Travis Mayweather in that series, will soon be seen in Single Ladies, a new Queen Latifah-produced made-for-television movie.

Montgomery will be playing Darryl Jenkins, a successful businessman and a loving husband who adores his wife and fights to make their marriage work.

Single Ladies will “focus on the different ideas the ladies have on sex and relationships. Stacy Dash will play a celebrity stylist; Lisa Raye McCoy will play a video vixen; Charity Shea will play a wife who is bored with her “perfect marriage”; and Lauren London will play an NBA player’s fiancée.”

VH1’s first scripted programming, Single Ladies is a “cross between Girlfriends and Sex and the City.” If audiences like what they see, Single Ladies will become a television series.

The air date has not yet been announced. Principle photography is in progress and will finish on May 28.
