Zachary Quinto is a bit bummed that Leonard Nimoy won’t be on board for Star Trek XII.
The last time Nimoy appeared in a Star Trek movie, it took a personal appeal from J.J. Abrams to coax him out of retirement, but Quinto thinks it would take more than that to get Nimoy for the sequel.
“I think I might have to ask him this time,” joked Quinto.
Although Nimoy won’t be on board, Quinto is eager to begin work on Star Trek XII. “Every time J.J. calls, I pick up in a heartbeat,” he said. “I assure you that. And when it’s to tell me to come to work, I’ll be there.”

While promoting FlashForward, which has just returned from hiatus, Cho spoke about filming in Los Angeles for FlashForward as well as working on Star Trek. “What’s been great about filming in L.A. is just getting to relearn my city because we’re shooting on location so much,” he said. “For instance, we shot in Pacoima and, oddly enough, it’s a place I’d never been to. That was cool. We’ve been shooting in Japantown a little bit, and I always like going to Little Tokyo and eating in Ramen spots.”
