IDW July Star Trek Comics

1 min read

IDW Publishing has provided a “first look” at the July IDW Star Trek comics.

The July comic releases will include three Star Trek comics and one new trade paperback comic collection.

As reported by TrekMovie.com, comic fans will have several publications to keep them busy in July.

In Star Trek: Burden of Knowledge #2, written by Scott Tipton and David Tipton, with art by Frederic Manfredi and the cover by Joe Corroney, Captain Kirk’s crew finds a new peaceful, idyllic society that isn’t as idyllic as it appears at first glance. A rebellion forces Kirk to decide between getting involved or following the Prime Directive.

Star Trek: McCoy #4, art, writing and cover all by John Byrne, contains two tales. In one, McCoy must find a way to deal with a virus that just may be smarter than he is. In the second tale, a visit to an old friend finds McCoy wrestling with a dilemma that cuts across the very heart of the Hippocratic Oath.

Other offerings include the Star Trek Movie Adaptation #5 comic, and the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Fool’s Gold trade paperback.
