1 min read

The Town of Vulcan, located in Alberta, Canada, will host the most famous Star Trek Vulcan when Leonard Nimoy arrives to pay a visit to the small town as part of a Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo event.

“It can be confirmed,” said Dayna Dickens, who is the tourism coordinator for Vulcan. “Leonard Nimoy is definitely coming to Vulcan.”

LeonardNimoy01222010Nimoy will be attending the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo which will take place April 24-25, but before that, he will stop in Vulcan on April 23. “We don’t know any details of what he’ll be doing when he gets here,” said Dickens. “That’s still being negotiated.”

Another famous Vulcan will be coming to Vulcan, this time for the annual Spock Days/Galaxyfest. Tim Russ, who played Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager, will be the special guest appearing at the event which runs from June 11-13.

For those attending the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo this year, there will be an extra bonus as an additional Star Trek actor will also be in attendance, Brent Spiner (Data) from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
