Fans waiting for the arrival of Star Trek: Online can sign up now for the Star Trek: Online closed beta, due to occur later this year.
According to Star Trek: Online, selection of those chosen will be random, with the exception of those who have purchased either a six-month or a lifetime subscription to Champions Online, who are automatically accepted into the beta.

In Hostage: A Love Story, Quinto, best-known for his roles on Heroes and Star Trek XI, plays a pistol-wielding robber who takes a woman hostage when his attempt to rob a bakery is seemingly foiled.
Star Trek XI Returns To IMAX
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009Star Trek XI has returned to IMAX theaters for a limited engagement after having been replaced by Night At The Museum.
Fans who missed the initial IMAX run of Star Trek XI are in luck, as the movie has returned to some IMAX theaters for an additional two-week run.

When Central Missouri Astronomical Association Treasurer Randall Durk phoned original series cast members in hopes of autographs, he got more than that for which he bargained when one of them showed up in person.
A chance call to actors from the original series resulted in a surprise visit by Star Trek: The Menagerie guest star Sean Kenney, who gave a talk to a small group on Monday.

This fall, John Cho will play Demetri Noh on a new ABC series to air this fall.
Cho (Sulu) will join Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love) in Flash Forward, a new sci-fi series based on Robert J. Sawyer‘s novel of the same name.
