Kurtzman And Orci In Xombie Talks

1 min read

If all goes well, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will be producing Xombie, the story of a zombie policeman.

DreamWorks studio is in negotiations to buy Xombie, a story about a zombie who is also a policeman, written by LAPD homicide detective Will Beall, a former beat cop.

Xombie is based on a Devil’s Due comic book by James Farr which is based on his online animated series. Zombie cop Dirge attempts to save the remnants of humanity, including a young girl named Zoe, from evil zombies.

In addition to Xombie, Beall is also adapting his debut novel, L.A. Rex, which is about a policeman patrolling a gang-infested area of South Los Angeles.
