Star Trek Comics International Special

1 min read

Although the regular Comics International magazine is still on hiatus, fans will be pleased with the current release of a special issue devoted to Star Trek.

As reported by Sci Fi Pulse, the Star Trek Special celebrates four decades of Star Trek in comics, from the first issue published in 1967 by Gold Key, to the more recent IDW releases.

The issue features an introduction by Walter Koenig (Chekov,) and includes interviews with both British and Americans such as Dan Abnett, Mike Collins, Ian Edginton, Mike W. Barr, Diane Duane, Gordon Purcell, David Messina and Scott Tipton. Star Trek Voyager‘s EMH, Robert Picardo was also interviewed for the issue.

The issue, heavily illustrated and including formerly unpublished artwork, is on sale in shops now.
